A handful of years ago, Alan and 3 of his young friends pooled resources and bought a block of coastal land just south of Whangarei.

They dreamed of having a piece of paradise for them and their collective whanau forever.

Shady Acres, they called it.

Since that time, they’ve traveled the world, found wonderful partners and started families; all the while, keeping “the land” an important part of their lives.

What better place to celebrate a wedding for Daisy and Alan.

P.s. Thank goodness for a cloudy day. Shady Acres is many acres in size but has very little shade.
